この日、一人で練習するつもりでいたが、仲間と連絡がついたので、午後から教会で音合わせをする事ができた。
昨日の日記で紹介した、Down in yon forest は日本語の歌詞に訳したものでで歌ってみた。
Ｓがギターの伴奏を録音したものに合わせて、わたしがヴォーカルを取り、コーラスの部分にＳが、主旋律よりも高い音でハーモニーを付ける。
Ｓはボンゴを叩き、わたしが前奏と間奏でヴァイオリンを入れる。
Ｓのエネルギッシュなギターとボンゴはどちらもこの曲を盛り上げてくれるが、一人で二つの楽器を弾くわけにはいかないから、録音しない限りは無理。
ずっと弾いていなかったヴァイオリンはすぐに弦が緩んでしまい、弓もひどい状態だが、この曲には合うかもしれない。
楽器との関係を取り戻すためにも、弾かなくては・・・
その前後にクリスマスキャロルを７曲と、「月の庭」（ イギリスの民謡、サリー・ガーデンに日本語の歌詞がつけられたもの）を練習。
日曜日と月曜日の二日間で、ずいぶん形になった気がする。
何より、久し振りの仲間との音楽がとても楽しい。
「遠い森の中」の歌詞と原詩を載せておくとしよう。
