今年の2月に、“空”の子どもたちが企画実施した「イラク・湾岸戦争の子どもたち」の写真展をきっかけに、3月に広島で開催された劣化ウラン弾廃絶キャンペーン広島での報告会に参加したときに、“空”のメンバーが報告集を手渡したイラク人医師モハメドさんからの緊急メールです。

以下のメールは、イラクへの医療支援にとりくんでいるセイブ・イラクチルドレ
ン・名古屋の招きで、今年１月から８月末まで名古屋大学付属病院で医療研修を受けていたモハメド・ダハム・ハッサン医師が、セイブ・イラクチルドレン・名古屋をはじめ日本の友人に送ったもので、１１月８日に受信しました。
米軍は１万人の部隊でファルージャを包囲し、非常事態宣言が発令されていますが、事態は私たちが思っている以上に悪化していることを伝えてきています。
イラクの人々のいのちと主権を守るために、そして自衛隊員のいのちを守るため
にも、いま私たちが何をすべきかが問われています。

重要なことをお伝えしなければなりません。サウジアラビアのイスラム指導者たちがイラク国民に、外国軍の支配とたたかうようよびかけました。
また、イランのシーア派指導者も、イラクの人々に占領支配とたたかうようよびかけています。
イラク国民にとってはすばらしいこの２つのニュースは、事態を一層悪化させるでしょう。
イラク国民はこれら指導者たちを信頼しています。
日本はこの点について考えなければならないと思います。日本の軍隊も外国の軍隊ですし、米軍を支援していると見られているからです。

みなさんは何を待っているのですか。
もっと多くの日本人の命が失われるのを待っているのですか?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

イラク国軍は昨日、北部のクルド人自治区を除いたイラク全土に非常事態宣言を出すことを決めました。
昨晩、ファルージャへの攻撃が始まりました!!!!!
私たちは民間人の命が助かるようにと祈りを始めました。
米英軍は日曜日の朝からファルージャ市を完全に包囲してしまっています。
みんな大きなストレスにさらされた状態です。
ずっと祈りをささげています。

みなさん、
書き続けられません。今の事態が心配で心配でならないのです。
つい数時間前にファルージャの病院が爆撃され、医療関係者がとらえられたというニュースを聞いたところです。
新しいニュースが届くのをまって対処しなければなりません。

Somthing important I have to tell you that is the islamic leaders in
saudiarabia explained that the iraqi people have to fight against
occupation of
foreign military in addition the chief of shia in Iran also that the
iraqi people have to fight against the occupation .
These are two great news for iraqi people will worsen the situation
because iraqi people trust on those people so I think you have to
consider this in japan because japanese militry included as a foreign
and as a supporting forces for american forces !! so you waiting for
what?!! Are you waiting for more loss of japanese ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The iraqi national militry yesterday decided to start the emergency
state all over iraq except the north area which is under the kurdish
controll last night the battle against fallouja start !!!!!!!!! and we
start to pray to save the civilian because american and british forces
blocking the city completely since morning of yesturday(Sunday) and th
e situation of stress covering all of us we pray all the time. Dear my
friends I can not continue writing to you now because I am very
anxious and warried about the situation because just before hours
heared that the falouja hospital was bombed and some of medical staff
were captured and we waiting the next hours so I have to follow the
news.
