From 19th December Second Subway in India started in New Delhi.Many Japanese construction companies have joined in this project.This is one of symbolic projects of corporation between India and Japan.The commercial operation of only 4km within the total about 60Km-plan started.There are many sections within around 60Km plan allocated to foreign companies including Japanese companies.


This first completion section was the one to have been allocated to the Japanese company.The first subway in India started in Kolkata.There is no such mass commuting railway in Mumbai the largest city in India.The basic infrastructure such as rail way and road in New Delhi has being developed better than Bombay. New Delhi is becoming the main window of India for foreign country.


ニューデリーに地下鉄が出来ました。１９日の開通式には「シン首相」も駆けつけ列車の乗ったようです。ニューデリーは土地が広く道幅も相当広かったので地下鉄工事は比較的順調にいったようです。ムンバイとか、バンガロールは、市内の道幅が狭いので、地下鉄工事などとてもできないでしょう。
