DVDの続きを鑑賞。
チマチマ見てる。

今日見た部分の歌はいただけなかったなぁ。
"The Song for Phil Daoust"
毒々しすぎるというか。。。
言い過ぎでしょ？

けど、結構受けてるなぁ。

と思ってWiki見てみたら

One of the more contentious songs on the album is "The Song for Phil Daoust", about the Guardian writer who gave Minchin one of his very first bad reviews after seeing him at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2005. Minchin has stated in interviews that he decided to use Daoust's real name as it was crucial to the material being "shocking". According to Times Online, the song "addresses the awkward relationship between critic and performer with gleeful venom".

ちなみに私が嫌だなと思った歌詞は以下。

But I still wanna cut big chunks of flesh out of your stupid face and make your children watch while I force you to eat them. Yeah I wanna make your children watch you eat your own face-meat.

本人をどうこう言うのはいいけど、その子供を絡めるのはやっぱ悪趣味でしょ？
あと、字義通り「糞くらえ」くらいだったらまぁ毒舌として笑えるかもしれないけど
自分の肉を…ってのは、今読んでる小説のナチの所業にも近くて全然笑えない。怖い。

それから

I hope one of your family' members dies.

ってのも、到底許容できない。
実名名指しだから、なおさら。

というわけで、この曲だけは今後飛ばすと思う。それくらい気持ち悪い。

それとは別に、クマの曲のダンサーが仕込みだということがWikiにて確認できた（笑）。

During the live performances of "Bears Don't Dig on Dancing", Minchin would call an audience member (usually planted) up on stage to dress up in a bear costume and break dance during the song.

あの唐突に豹変するキレキレのダンスはかなり面白かった。





「ドン・キホーテのロンドン 」をお風呂で読み返していて
長らく文庫化を待っていた「ロンドン・デイズ」を突発的に購入。
文庫化どころかKindle化もないまま絶版するんじゃないかと思って。

マケプレで買ったので安かった。それを本日一気読み。
ドン・キホーテと結構ネタかぶりしてるけど、でも面白かった。





相変わらず部屋は片付かないけれど、
とりあえずキッチンシンクを磨いてみた。
水切りも。

あと今更ながら、冬物のスカートを洗濯。
