Probe report on Subhash Chandra Bose 'death' tabled.

New Delhi: The findings of the one-member commission that probed the alleged disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was tabled in the Lok Sabha Wednesday, along with the government's action taken report.
Minister of State for Home S. Regupathy tabled the report of Manoj Mukherjee, a retired judge of the Supreme Court, who was asked in 1999 to probe the alleged death of Subhas Chandra Bose, following an order of the Calcutta High Court, which wanted a vigorous inquiry to put an end to the controversy.
The United Progressive Alliance government has, however, rejected the report.
The report says Bose did not die in a plane crash in Taiwan in 1945 as has been believed for over six decades and that the ashes in Renkoji temple near Tokyo did not belong to the founder of the Indian National Army.
The report also wants a thorough probe into the so-called Rssian connection in the controversy, which says Bose had survived the Second World War and had, in fact, been detained in a Siberian camp thereafter.
This was the third panel constituted to probe the disappearance of Bose.

日本ではこれが真実と信じられています。確かに終戦前夜のドサクサの出来事なので証拠品などが失われているのでしょう。しかしそろそろ政治的な結論が出されても良いと思われます。ボースの役割とか、東京裁判の「バール博士」の意見とか、日・印を結ぶインド人のことが日本でもっと知られて良いと思います。
