9月9日発売予定、「brainchild's」の
8曲目は「手の平」だそうだ。
「手の平」の文字を目にして、
“髪の毛 手の平 愛の光”と始まる
THE YELLOW MONKEY14枚目のシングル「球根」を
思い浮かべた。
この「球根」と「BULB」は、THE YELLOW MONKEY全楽曲の中で
私が最も愛する曲なのだ。
一番最初に書かれた歌詞では、
“この真っ赤な情熱が二人を染めた”の「情熱」は、
「鮮血」だったのだという。
物狂おしいまでの「性」と「生」のエネルギーを感じさせる歌だ。
今年の「吉井和哉宇宙一周旅行」ツアーで歌われた
「恋の歌」オリジナルヴァージョンにも通じていると思う。
“あなたは心の角を削って
余った破片で私を刺した”
鋭い痛みを感じさせて。
ドクドクと流れる血潮の熱さを感じさせて。
と、でも言うような。
