Today I went to Il Museo S.Marco for Fra Angelico's "L'Annunciazione" I can't say why this fresco picture moved me a great deal. I was extremery impressed by the Madonnna's face. She didn't show any passionate emotion. She looked as if she accepted preposterous destiny quietly. I love her quiet.
My enthusiasm for "L'Annunciazione" made me hungry. So I went to "Trattoria Il Cibreo" (There is a small part of "Ristorante Il Cibreo") on foot and had crostini with tuna, baked eggplant with cheese, and tomato pudding. All dishes were so delicious. For me, tomato pudding was the best. It had rich flavor of tomato and spicy taste. I could feel happy.
On hotel's TV, I saw Ambra. When I came to Rome ten years ago, I saw her TV programme "Non e' la Rai" every evening. I have her CD.(I couud buy all of her CD at TOWER RECORDS, SHIBUYA TOKYO") I love her tune "Immagina che bello " from CD "t'appartengo". Did she release the CD after "ambra in canto" ? I've never found her new CD in Florence.


　きょうはサン・マルコ美術館でフラ・アンジェリコの「受胎告知」を観た。離れ難く思い、何度も描かれた壁の前の階段を登り降りした。美術館へいくのはとても好きだが、興奮しながら館内を歩き回るせいか 、特に海外の大きな美術館ではとても疲労してしまう。昼食を「チブレオ」のトラットリアで摂るべく、排気ガスの匂いが鼻につく大通りから、歩道がとても狭くて歩きにくい裏通りへ分け入って訪ねていった。「チブレオ」は著名なレストランだが、トラットリア部とカフェ部も設けている。トラットリアではレストランと同じ厨房で作られる料理がレストランより安く気軽に食べられるので人気がある。注文した料理はどれも良かったが、特にトマトスープのゼリー寄せが抜群であった。濃厚なトマトの風味にスパイスがぴりっと効かせてあって、とてもおいしいものであった。昨夜の夕食をホテルの近く、レオーニ通りのレストランで摂ったのだが、荻窪あたりで店を出しても流行らないような眠たい味であったのでがっかりしていた。イタリアだからどのレストランもおいしいはずと盲信しているわけではないのだが、これまでこの国のレストランで失望させられたことがあまりないので、がっかりする度合いが大きかった。「チブレオ」のおかげでまたこの国のレストランを信頼する気持ちが戻った。
