会社の人づたいに、アンケートが回ってきた。その人の身内には文学部、特に日本文学系の人がいないので、いそうな人のところに回したようです。
内容は、外国の学生さんからのアンケート。会社の人もその人から直接受け取ったわけではないので（海外出張先で知り合いから「うちの子のアンケートに答えてくれよ〜オレの知り合いの日本人はおまえだけなんだよ〜」と渡されたらしい・笑）質問者の意図をつかみきれず、かなり困難なアンケートになっております。

へぼい英語をつけてみた。いや、学生時代10段階で4だった人間にいい翻訳はなかなか思い浮かばない。
難しいのは、質問者が英語ネイティブでないこと、どこまで日本の童話（というか民話だろう）を知っているのかがわからないこと。
どの段階で話をすればいいのかなぁ。一応グリム童話を大学の授業で取ったこともあるし、世界の民話・伝説・神話みたいな本は学生時代に図書館にあったヤツは全部読んでいるから、言わんとしていることはわかるんだけど、嫌が応にもキリスト教が根底にある文化圏の人に、そういうのがなくて全部ごちゃ混ぜなんだよ、というのを説明して通じるのか。
