Mario Matt won his eighth World Cup slalom race Sunday, beating Austrian teammate Benjamin Raich by 0.10 seconds. Matt, a slalom specialist, finished in a combined time of 1 minute, 48.45 seconds after completing two perfect runs on the difficult Kuonisbaergli course. Felix Neureuther of Germany was third, 0.14 seconds back from Matt. After tying for third in the first run, American Ted Ligety straddled a gate in the second run. 　アルペンスキーのワールドカップ（Ｗ杯）は６日、アデルボーデン（スイス）で男子回転第４戦を行い、１回目で７位につけた佐々木明（ティーシーエス）は２回目の後半にバランスを崩して止まり、合計タイム１分55秒60の26位に後退した。
　昨季の世界選手権覇者のマリオ・マット（オーストリア）が１回目のリードを守り、１分48秒45で昨年３月以来の通算９勝目を挙げた。今季初めて２回目に進んだ湯浅直樹（スポーツアルペンク）が１分50秒62で19位に入った。
