■Minarikのリトルベア・シリーズ
児童書が恋しい・・・と、Minarikのクマさんシリーズを頼んだら、表示どおりに24時間以内に発送された。全体にクラシックな色調の装丁で、文章もイラストもすごくかわいくて、お気に入りのシリーズになりそう。
この＜An I Can Read Book＞シリーズは、書店でよく立ち読みしていたのだけれど、このクマさんシリーズは見たことがなかった。ていうか、紀伊国屋本店で、店の配置換えをした後、このシリーズはどこに行ったやら・・・？
児童書というより、幼児向けの本なので、読もうと思えばすぐ読めてしまうけれど、もったいないので、２冊だけ読んだ。モーリス・センダックのイラストの線の細かさとか、子どもにはもったいない。。。じゃなくて、こういうちゃんとした絵を小さい頃から見せておくと、きっといいんだろうなと思った。たとえ英語が読めなくても、この絵を見せるだけでも価値ありだと思う。
